A Look Back: Neck Deep’s music videos
They’re coming back to tour Australia this December (no pun intended), so we had a look back at all of Neck Deep‘s music videos to refresh our memories on the pop-punk quintet’s best bangers.
Music videos are a sort of time capsule for musicians; they are a visual snapshot of the creative vision, social climate and the band themselves at the time the video was made. It is cool to be able to watch people grow before your eyes; and the audible and aesthetic changes the band have gone through over the years are cool to see in quick succession.
Almost every video was made by a different director, which for some bands is common, and others very unusual; the band’s decision to have a variety of filmmakers has resulted in a really diverse catalogue of videos.
