He first stepped onto the music scene in the early 1970's and helped pave the way for what hip hop music has become today. He was the first DJ to play the turntables as a musical instrument, elevating the status of DJ's to artists around the world. With over thirty years of success, a rock 'n' roll hall of fame induction and Super Bowl performance under his belt, Grandmaster Flash is exactly who we need to ring in the New Year.

Of course you can't have New Year's Eve without fireworks so at 9pm an incredible display will light up the harbour right in front of Manly Wharf Hotel.
