Van She announce headline tour.

With tickets flying out the door for Van She's forthcoming 11-date tour of Australia & New Zealand, the full list of artists sharing the stage with the Sydney-siders can be revealed. Main support comes from RüFüS (exc. Adelaide & Perth). Currently riding high with the release of their Blue EP featuring track faves 'This summer' and 'Selena', RüFüS are definitely one to watch this summer. Future Classic's rising stars Panama will open up in Sydney and Melbourne, with Mod bod Beni jumping on the decks at the Metro (Syd). Local heroes Pigeon and The Bowler Bar DJs complete the Brisbane line-up with triple j faves Voltaire Twins and Shazam representing Perth and hometown stars Messrs look after Adelaide. Local supports in Hobart and New Zealand will be announced independently.

Current sunshine-in-a-glass single 'Jamaica' is all over your airwaves (listen here: http://soundcloud.com/modularpeople/van-she-jamaica) and follows the album's title track 'Idea of Happiness' which re-launched Van She back into the musical spotlight, so brilliantly. So uplifting it's practically levitational, Van She's new album is their most focused, joyous musical excursion to date. An album stirred by sun-baked travels and fleeting truths, and shaken with the sands of time, Idea Of Happiness was recorded, engineered and produced by the band themselves in Kings Cross, Sydney, and mixed by Tony Hoffer (Air, Beck, Phoenix, M83) in Los Angeles.
