TROPHY EYES

Hailing from Newcastle, Australia, Trophy Eyes bring together their own combination of aggressive pop punk and melodic hardcore. The 5-piece band began making waves worldwide with the 2013 release of their emotionally driven EP Everything Goes Away. The band quickly left their mark on an unsuspecting public, with their Everything Goes Away release instantly connecting with kids across the country. Powered by vocalist John Floreani's deeply personal lyrics, the young outfit had created enough of an impression to land the national support slot with UK pop-punks Neck Deep, as well as opening the Sydney leg of Soundwave Festival. Shortly after, Trophy Eyes were picked up by US Label, Hopeless Records (New Found Glory, All Time Low, Taking Back Sunday, The Used). The band has since completed several of their own headline tours across the country and recently released their debut album 'Mend, Move On'. In 2015 Trophy Eyes has toured the UK with Neck Deep, headlined mainland Europe with As It Is and completed the full North American Vans Warped tour 2015 turning heads with their energetic and passionate performances. The band will tour nationally and return to the UK and Europe in October 2015.

"Uplifting yet confronting, crushing yet melodic and at all times honest, Trophy Eyes have performed the ultimate alchemists' trick by taking a lifetime worth of challenging circumstances and spinning them into gold in the form a truly special debut record that encapsulates the awkward transition between childhood and adulthood with stunning clarity. These are songs that make your heart beat faster, your mind tick over and your legs want to pogo uncontrollably. We identified them as a band you should be listening to in our inaugural Sounds of The (Down) Underground column and if Mend, Move On is as successful as it deserves to be, you'll have little choice but to do so." - 9/10 Review - Under The Gun Review

"Trophy Eyes have constructed a smooth and cohesive listening experience, seamlessly melding disparate musical elements while avoiding the forced, arbitrary sound of similar crossover acts. The result is a deeply enjoyable EP that cements the Newcastle five-piece as an act to watch." - 9/10 Review - Kill Your Stereo

"They are exceptionally tight, just as you would expect a heavily toured act to be and every element is just on point. Anyone who is an existing Trophy Eyes fan will already know just how down-to-Earth and likeable John Floreani is, and it's one of the staples of seeing them live that he interacts with the crowd just as if every single one of them are his mates." - IProbablyHateYourBand.com
