Panama Presents Tinariwen Live at the Odeon Theatre, Nipaluna/Hobart.

In the vast expanse of the Sahara, amidst swirling sands and lives defined by war and rebellion, a musical phenomenon was born: Tinariwen. Their story is one of defiance and unyielding spirit.

In the midst of the Tuareg struggles for autonomy, a group of young men, armed with guitars instead of guns, found solace and strength in music. Born from the fires of political upheaval, Tinariwen emerged as the voice of a generation. Their melodies, echoing through the dunes, became anthems of defiance, rallying cries for a people yearning to be heard.

Tinariwen's journey transcends borders and boundaries. From the vast expanse of the Sahara to the stages of the world, their music has captivated audiences with its raw, unfiltered honesty and wild, hypnotic grooves. Tinariwen has earned global recognition, winning the Grammy Award for Best World Music Album and performing at renowned festivals like Glastonbury and Coachella.
