Having enjoyed eighteen UK Top 40 singles, (and perennial favourites of legendary radio DJ John Peel) The Wedding Present now visit Australia for the first time ever since their 1985 inception to celebrate the release of their eighth studio album Valentina (released on March 23 by Lost And Lonesome).

Propelled by founding member David Gedges perpetualbroken heart and incisively brazen lyrics, Valentina turns a fresh pageon the bands noisy guitar pop tradition one that has inspired severalgenerations of canny pop fans and indie rock bands alike. As well asshowcasing tracks from the new album, The Wedding Present will also beperforming their classic 1991 Steve Albini-produced album Seamonsters inits entirety.
