After a record sell out season during the 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival The Shelf returns for three shows only in their 13th season. Last season at the Toff in Town we saw some of the best comedians in the world grace the stage alongside the most promising and exciting young talent that our country has to offer.
Hosts Justin Hamilton and Adam Richard return with a brand new line up that changes from week to week. Last season Australian comedy stars Wil Anderson, Cal Wilson and Celia Pacquola joined overseas sensations Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds as regular Shelvers. This season will be no different with some of your favourite acts performing alongside some of the best and most exciting up and coming talent in the comedy scene.
The Shelf is where you can see stand up, chat, sketches, musical and character comedy. We'd dub it a variety show but even that would just be limiting what this show can be. Every show is different from the previous performance and it really is the comedy show where anything can happen.
