After a six month hiatus The Shelf returns to The Toff in Town to help you say goodbye to 2014 in grand style. If you haven't seen The Shelf before it is the only live comedy show in Australia that gives you the best stand up, sketches, character comedy, musical comedy and free wheeling chats between your favourite comedians.

Hosted by Justin Hamilton and Adam Richard, The Shelf also showcases some of the best talent in the country regardless of whether they're established comedians or young up and coming comics beginning to take the comedy community by storm. Every show is a completely new experience and you never know what will be served up on any given night. In the past The Shelf has provided moments where you could see Rove McManus and Wil Anderson bantering onstage together, Cal Wilson in character as Adele dealing with the sexual tension that she has with Hamilton and Tony Martin showing behind the scenes photos from his work with Ross Noble in the UK.

With a regular core group consisting of Hamilton, Richard, Cal Wilson, Claire Hooper and sketch sensation Aunty Donna, there will be plenty of guests at every show making certain you get your bang for your buck...and more!

The Shelf is proud to continue it's relationship with The Toff in Town, a first-class venue that offers up a room perfect for this style of performance with cabaret style seating or standing room at the bar.

A line up that packs proper punches and cuts no corners will have you looking forward to Monday evenings away from the couch being served reality TV.

Guests can trundle down after work, grab a cocktail and chow down a meal before the show. The doors open at 7pm and the show begins bang on 7.30pm. The prices range from: Full: $30(+bf), concession: $25(+bf) or if you'd like to see all three shows then the season ticket comes in at: $75(+bf).

After this season The Shelf will return for the 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
