Saturday 7th July Adelaide The Gov

On the eve of releasing their fifth and biggest album yet, The Bamboos announce a national tour in support of Medicine Man. This is the first time The Bamboos have hit the road nationally since 2010 - and with an album this big under their belt, this tour is sure to see them reach a whole heap of new fans.

Crafted by bandleader Lance Ferguson alongside a whos-who of International and Australian music icons like You Am Is Tim Rogers, Washington, Mark Ronson collaborator Daniel Merriweather and Bamboos fave Kylie Auldist, Medicine Man also enlists the help of US soul-man Aloe Blacc, Bobby Flynn and the bands newest member, Ella Thompson. The current single I Got Burned featuring Tim Rogers is one of the most played songs on radio at the moment debuting at #19 on the Aria Australian Singles chart. It was recently debuted on Adam Hills in Gordon St Tonight programme on ABC TV, showing Rogers a deft hand at crooning rock n soul. On the road the band will heavily feature the new LP as well as dipping in to past faves from 4, Step It Up, Rawville and The Side Stepper. Special guests will appear on stage with The Bamboos in each city, with details to be revealed closer to the show dates.

Dont miss The Bamboos in their biggest tour yet, supporting one of the most anticipated Australian releases of 2012. Medicine Man is released June 1st and is destined to be their biggest and best album so far.
