TEENS
TEENS are a post-punk trio based in Nipaluna/Hobart. Together, Shawn Arnold, Alex Davern and Jono Tate create music that is abrasive, dynamic, and intensely captivating. TEENS’ volatile musings on despair and alienation blend grit, vulnerability, intricacy and rawness, with their deceptively chaotic exterior belying an expertly applied command of tension and energy.

AXON BREEZE
AXON BREEZE set out to confound. Their debut single, You Snake, was a shifting sidewinder that defied classification but drew on the nocturnal lineage of its creators. The multi-pronged artist JR Brennan, on vocals and production, led 90s grindcore act Flycop (on the label Spiral Objective) and infamous Berlin-based electronic duo Theatre Of Disco (Risky Disco / Future Classic). Sam Dowson, on drums and machines, has been an extreme metal drummer and producer for Mephistopheles, Milquebarth and RVNKNG. Neither are strangers to subversion by day either, having been a parole officer and a lawyer respectively.

The duo, from Nipaluna/Hobart, chased You Snake with a series of shows at Dark Mofo in 2023 that NME listed in the top five performances of the festival. The AXON BREEZE live experience pushes the boundaries of heavy music, with intense bursts of post punk and hyperpop bridged with passages of drawn-out doom. Their unsettling soundscapes aim for the underbelly, and straddle the juncture of the dancefloor, the pit and performance art.

Fanny Pack don't have a bio. They've got three members and some punk ramblings, though. 

JOEL GREEN (ONE MAN) BAND
A fixture of the nipaluna/Hobart music scene for the best part of a decade, at 23, Joel Green is one of the youngest veterans of an arts community that you’ll encounter. From cutting his teeth in Legal Noise, the fuzz rock band he formed in high school, to the endearing cow punk of Funeral Jeans, and many other projects in between, Green is no stranger to Hobart’s venues. Over the years he has supported a slew of visiting artists including Eddy Current Suppression Ring, C.O.F.F.I.N., The Mark of Cain, DZ Deathrays, and many more.
