Join Jon Knox-Matthews & Lucky Oceans on a journey through hand-penned originals, nostalgic western tunes & well-loved jazz classics.

Leading up to Jon’s long-awaited debut EP “Coming Home” - out soon - on lead guitar &/or vocals, Jon can be found alongside celebrated jazz & swing artist Jessie Gordon, UK & AUS outfit The Crawdads & previously half of folk-duo Conscious Dreamers. Joining National & International tours with artists such as Amber Foxx (USA), Big Sandy (USA), Stratosfunk (AUS) & Darling Buds of May (AUS). His influences range from Charlie Christian & Robert Johnson to Hank Williams & Blaze Foley.

Lucky, seeing Delta Blues legend, Son House, & John Coltrane play live in Philadelphia, chauffeuring Big Joe (Baby Please Don’t Go) Williams (the last of the Delta Bluesmen in Chicago) & co-founding member of Asleep at the Wheel - with whom he has won two Grammy Awards. Lucky’s musical collaborations include Merle Haggard, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris & Paul Kelly. His influences can be noted as Buddy Emmons & Joaquin Murphey to Bob Wills & Leonard Cohen.
