Formed in 1981, Australian Ska legends The Strange Tenants are rightly proclaimed as the Godfathers of the Australian Ska movement. Taking their cues from English bands such as the Specials, Madness, Bad Manners and the Beat, fusing Jamaican rhythms with punk energy and their own Militant Style. 

The Strange Tenants are still Ska’d for life and are back, coming to Brisbane in September to play one more time for their Queensland fans.

AND … we’re also being joined specially for this show by Brisbane Ska icons The Furious Turtles 

Opening with Fiesta Fiasco’s wonderful mix of ska and soul sounds with Baggy Trousers bringing the Sound of Madness as a nod to their early London influences. The Furious Turtles will be smashing out their hit songs and the evening finishes in a crescendo of Australian Ska from the legendary Strange Tenants.  

It’s going to be massive and fans will be travelling from NSW and North QLD to be here with all the SE QLD crew for the show. If you’ve been Ska’d for life, don’t miss this !!!
