Reb Fountain – Water for Gasoline Album Tour
Reb Fountains new album Water For Gasoline delivers another striking body of work from one of New Zealand's most acclaimed contemporary artists, a record that confronts the challenges of our times while searching for light, beauty and connection amongst the noise.
The same artistic instinct and collective spirit that shapes Water for Gasoline has long defined Reb Fountain’s live performances, with her live band taking her recordings to the next level. In celebration of her new work, Reb brings an enhanced band line up to audiences across Aotearoa and Australia this October, featuring Dianne Swann and James Duncan alongside bandmates Dave Khan & Earl Robertson.
Joining Reb in Sydney and Melbourne is Adam Hattaway. Since releasing his debut album All Dat Love in 2018, Adam has established himself as one of Aotearoa’s most prolific and distinctive songwriters and performers. His work spans rock ’n’ roll, country, soul and indie, earning chart success, international radio play and placements on Netflix. His 2024 album High Horse, produced by Marlon Williams, was named among Rolling Stone Australia/New Zealand’s Top 50 Albums of the Year. Known for his dynamic live performances and sharp songwriting, Hattaway continues to build a celebrated catalogue that draws on classic influences while carving out a sound distinctly his own. Hattaway’s recent release, ‘War On Zevon’ celebrates Warren Zevon's songs with guest appearances from Georgia Knight, Adam McGrath and Milan Borich.
