Print Children - bugs life 5+ (wed): autumn 2017
Fun 1 day creative workshop for kids to learn basic printmaking skills.
12 April 2017, 9am - 5pm
In this 1 day workshop, kids will create their own beautiful insect themed prints. Inspired by the artwork Richard Killeen, they'll use bold colours to hand-print gift cards, art prints and postcards.
Under the guidance of experienced artist and printmaker Micaela Christie, kids will make basic mono-prints. They'll draw their own bug and insect designs into scratch board and then get their hands busy printing.
Kids will love seeing the quick results from their creations which they'll get to take home at the end of this day.
Suitable for children 5-8 years old
Maximum 10 children
Bring: Lunch, morning and afternoon tea and a water bottle
Wear: Old clothes - printmaking can get messy
