Based in Brisbane, Peruvian Flashback  is new to the original’s scene. Drummer Dylan is an experienced songwriter, having released five albums with psychedelic rock band Warpwood on drums, bass, guitar. as well as singing the lead vocals. Singer/Lyricist Jackson ( Jacko ) met guitarist Ben at music college and recognising his skills and talent persuaded him to form a new band. Months of relentless rehearsals and writing their new originals they then added drummer Dylan, with his extensive recording and mixing experience added to the mix the band began recording. Bass player Bryce was added as the band began to finish their ep and harness their sound. After many late night recording and rehearsal sessions they recorded their first demo. Peruvian Flashback met their new addition guitarist Jacob at one of the first live shows. Jacob instantly saw a vision of himself on stage with them. Since that encounter their sound has evolved into something bigger and better then ever. The rhythm section of this band is a force to be reckoned with along side fierce lead guitar work and exhilarating powerful vocals that make the band unforgettable. Peruvian Flashback’s goals are to play great live shows and build an audience for an album release in late 2021. The band is keen to immerse themselves in the local scene. Playing gigs at Rics Bar from networking at a QMusic run Qconnections event, the band rose to the challenge performing some notoriously difficult covers as well as a balanced 50/50 ratio of their own originals to keep the audience entertained. Working on their original song writing, the band counts among their influences Powderfinger, Megadeath, AC/CD, Guns and Roses, 9 inch nails and Led Zeppelin.  The band delivers a high energetic performance and delivers music to your ears that resonates with the music from some of the greats.
