Parrtjima – A Festival in Light brings people together. It is a spectacular experience of culture, country, language, story, light and art for all to enjoy under desert skies in the heart of Country.

This extraordinary free 10-night celebration in Alice Springs (Mparntwe) keeps the flame of story and authentic Aboriginal art and culture alive through largescale light installations and a spectacular light show that illuminates the ancient MacDonnell Ranges.

There is also a fascinating public program of interactive workshops, demos, talks, music, film and performances. From painting earrings and designing your own tote bag to learning about the history of the boomerang and sampling bush food, festival goers have plenty of opportunities to take home a little piece of Parrtjima over the 10 nights.
