Event Details

David Bakker has run The Clubhouse for the past 14 years, putting on monthly-ish comedy shows at venues around our beautiful metropolis. Currently, most shows are at the Hobart Brewing Co, or sometimes at The Greek Club. Headliners have included Hannah Gadsby, Wil Anderson, Ronny Chieng, Aunty Donna, Geraldine Hickey, Rhys Nicholson, Broden Kelly, Mel Buttle, etc etc blah blah you get the gist, check out www.clubhousecomedy.com.au for more.

Shows also have delightful local support acts, showcasing just how friggin good the Hobart comedy scene is. He sometimes does dumb little songs on his baritone guitar, and is a close associate of Australian Mustard Federation chairman Dion Dijon. He also runs the annual Mental Health Comedy Roadshow, bringing a line-up of Tassie comedians speaking their minds about mental health to regional venues around the state. He bloody loves the Tassie comedy scene.
