NYE 2023 Shark Island

Celebrate NYE on the amazing Shark Island and soak up the summer island atmosphere while enjoying one of the best views of the fireworks Sydney Harbour

In 2023 the event is free and the ticket cost covers your return ferry transfer from Rose Bay wharf.

Shark Island is a licensed event with a cash bar with EFTPOS facilities.

Food is also available for purchase or you can bring your own picnic, food and  (non-alcoholic) drinks.

Glass is not permitted.

This is a licensed event with a cash bar. Card facilities are available at the bar and food outlet. No B.Y.O. alcohol or glass is permitted, bag searches will be conducted before boarding the ferry. There are limits to what you can bring to Shark Island because of the ferry's restricted carrying capacity. You can bring hand luggage that you can carry on your lap on your trip to the island.

Marshal at Lyne Park, Rose Bay, 30 minutes before your allocated ferry departure time.

Ferries depart Shark Island at 9:30pm (following the 9pm fireworks) and at 12:30am and 1:15am on January 1st 2024
