Lineup ⇢ Sven Vath + Maurizio Schmitz

Novel & Nights Like This partner up to present one of the world’s longest standing and most respected DJs and artists. Sven Väth.

A legend in his own lifetime with a commitment and passion that has influenced the advance and evolution of electronic music. His extraordinary residency at one of the best clubs in the world Cocoon Ibiza, now represents 20 years of parties that have set new standards in production, and have never compromised on what matters. The music. As an artist, Sven Väth represents the core of dance music. With vinyl flailing, he picks up a crowd and takes them with him. From sold out festival stages at ADE, Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Coachella, Timewarp + more, the magic of Sven lies in his ability to always make you feel invited, and connected to the music. The most charismatic DJ of his generation is more vital and relevant than ever.

Joining him, we invite Maurizio Schmitz. An artist who drives his own bus, dividing his diary effortlessly between work, play - and playing. A purveyor of psychedelic house, minimal, progressive, and the lighter shades of techno, Maurizio explores contrasts in his music. Earning his stripes at the infamous ‘Labor’ club, to his 10 year residency at 'FrequenzBerater’, Maurizio now spends his time touring the world, from Switzerland, to Croatia, Munich, and Singapore. This will be his debut Australian showcase.

Don’t miss this union of peak techno, in an all-consuming late night experience.
