Event Details

Noah Dillon and band hit the road in November 2020 to celebrate the release of their latest single Knievel Daredevil with special guests Jack Davies and the Bush Chooks, Ghost Care & Clove.

Knievel Daredevil was written at the start of 2020. Lyrically the song is an introspective letter to my former self that I wish I could’ve read in year 9. Looking back at my adolescent years with the hindsight of being where I am now I can see the constraints and pressure I put myself under to be something I wasn’t.

This song is a reminder to step back from my life and ask myself what I really want, a reminder to do things on my own terms and a reminder to be who I want to be. I’m not a Knievel Daredevil at all and I think there’s a lot of pressure on young men to be a version of themselves that disregards introspection and sensitivity, restricting them from knowing what they really want in life.

Even Daredevil’s have feelings!!

2020 has been a wild ride for Noah Dillon and band. Despite lockdowns they band have stayed active releasing 3 singles over the course of the year and growing their audience nationally and internationally with both of the previous singles hitting over 100,000 spins on Spotify, picked up for rotation on Triple J, and were selected as Triple J Unearthed feature artist in May.

In the live arena the band have been lucky to get back on stage and do sell-out shows in WA, as well as being asked to play Australia’s first COVID safe festival in Good Day Sunshine festival later this month, Noah has also performed digitally on the first Isol-aid festival, and signed to the very reputable New World Artists.

Glowing praise for the recent single “Sunburnt in July” and “Mathew McConaughey” has propelled the band into the hearts of Australia.
