2016 is set to be the year Nicole Millar makes her mark as a solo artist, with the release of her second single "Tremble" on January 29 and debut EP on February 5. Nicole has created an immense hype towards this release after her successful debut single "Wait" was released in late October last year. "Tremble," boasts beats and synths that make the track feel full and compliment the depth of Nicole's voice. Starting off smooth and ultra sultry, it kicks up the tempo quickly, adding a power and playfulness that sees Nicole take you on a journey from beginning to end.
Inspired by artists like The Weeknd, Major Lazer and M , the "Tremble" EP is a deliciously luscious affair, laced with sophisticated beats, slow-burning synths and her sensual, soulful vocals. Written here and in the US, the EP sees Millar working with an array of sought after writers plus US-based, Israeli-born producer Dan Farber (Dim Mak, Mad Decent).
Now Nicole hits the road solo announcing her East Coast "Tremble" EP tour kicking off in hometown Sydney. After cutting her touring chops with the likes of Peking Duk, R F S and The Kite String Tangle she steps out solo with her new band set up.
