Mr. Moose is turning Mooseheads into a daytime dance party designed just for families!

As part of the Wonderful World festival, Mr. Moose’s Wonderful Silent Disco invites children, parents and grandparents to step inside one of Canberra’s most iconic venue reimagined as a colourful, welcoming and family-friendly space filled with music, movement and joy.

This silent disco experience is designed for families with children aged 6–14, offering a safe, inclusive and sensory-considerate environment right in the heart of the city.

🎧 How It Works

Each participant receives a pair of wireless headphones with multiple music channels to choose from, including:

• Kid-friendly pop favourites
• Throwback classics for parents
• Culturally diverse global music

Everyone can dance to their own beat while sharing the same dance floor — creating a truly intergenerational experience.

Because it’s a silent disco, there are no loud external speakers, making it suitable for younger children and those who may find traditional festival environments overwhelming.

This is a joyful daytime activation designed to help families connect, explore the city and experience music together in a safe and welcoming environment.

To allow as many families as possible to participate, the day will run across multiple sessions. Each session will become available once the first sessions sell out.

Capacity is limited per session. Tickets are essential.

T&Cs - This is a family event. Adult admission is only valid when attending with a child (aged 6–14). Child admission is only valid when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Unaccompanied adults or children will not be permitted entry. Management reserves the right to refuse entry where ticket conditions are not met.
