FRI 4 MARCH - MARY'S UNDERGROUND
11:30PM – 5:00AM

Coming hot off the back of his internationally renowned debut EP, Egyptian / Australian DJ & producer Moktar is taking his signature sound across Australia for the very first time. Exploring techno and IDM through the lens of Arabic percussion and instrumentation, he'll be stopping by Mary's Underground and bringing a couple mates along with him.

Already boasting spins on BBC Radio 6, NTS Radio, Rinse FM, KCRW Radio and triple j, plus receiving support from the likes of Jamie xx, Bonobo and Four Tet, and plays from Ok William and Yung Singh, Moktar’s music has proven its potential to move. However these shows will be the first official plays of the EP from Moktar himself.

Gaining fans across the country, and the world, Moktar’s music is beginning its journey and taking everyone with it. These will be the first of many shows to come, so make sure you're at these first and extra special rinsers.
