Encore Manly presents stand up from Mike Goldstein, Marty Bright & Alex Dyson (MC) at Manly's longest running comedy venue, the Old Manly Boatshed. Doors open at 6pm, event kicks off at 8:00pm!

Mike Goldstein has established himself as a unique and refreshing rising star in comedy both locally and internationally. American born, Mike Goldstein isn’t in Kansas anymore. Sydney first, then Perth, and now Melbourne, the part Christian, part Jewish, with a dash of Sri Lankan (Yep! You read right!), has been doing stand-up comedy for the past decade and Aussie audiences are loving him. 

Alex Dyson is one half of the comedic duo serving up Australia’s first on-demand breakfast show, Matt and Alex – All Day Breakfast.  Alex and his co-host, Matt Okine, spend each episode reflecting on the day’s topics and sharing their much-loved views on the world.  The show is available weekday mornings on SCA’s LiSTNR platform.

Marty has shared his energetic & up-beat brand of comedy around Australia and the world over the past decade, performing as far and wide as USA, Canada and New Zealand, with performances at some of the top clubs including LA’s Comedy Store, NYC’s Caroline’s and Montreal’s Comedy Works.

You may have seen him in previous years as part of the Sydney Comedy Festival: ‘Breakout’, ‘Fresh’ and ‘Roadshow Showcase’ Tours.

Some of the biggest names in Australian music and comedy will be up close and personal in the pubs, bars and clubs of Sydney’s beachside town, Manly, from Wednesday 17 August to Sunday 28 August 2022.

Encore Manly will see more than 60 musical artists and comedians on stage across more than 20 local Manly venues over the two week period. Kids and families are also in for a treat with some of the greatest ever Australian characters ready to make an appearance by the beach!
