Watch international football at Valentine Sports Park as the two teams prepare for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Mexico U20s are familiar faces on the U-20 World Cup scene, having played in 13 of the 19 final tournaments to date, thus making New Zealand 2015 their 14th appearance. 'Balanced' is arguably the best word to describe Sergio Almaguer's side, which stormed its way to a U-20 World Cup berth by scoring 18 goals, while only conceding three. With talent's such as midfielder Hirving Lozano, who finished as the tournament's joint top scorer with five goals to his name, and enjoyed a fruitful partnership with striker Alex Diaz. And in spite of the team's adventurous approach, a backline led by centre-back Rodrigo Gonzalez proved smoothly effective in covering the spaces left behind.

Fiji U20s entered the May 2014 qualifiers for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the knowledge they had an unusually elevated opportunity to win through to the global showpiece. The stereotype traditionally associated with Fiji is one of power mixed with typical Pacific flair and spirit. The current crop are, for numerous reasons, evidence that times are changing. The Fiji squad have enjoyed considerable preparation time and international exposure over recent years, perhaps more so than other Fijian teams historically. Ten players in the qualifiers were graduates of either the 2013 U-20 or U-17 teams, while the side spent a lengthy period together at the National Football Academy in Ba. The team are thus tactically aware and methodical in their approach. The squad primarily consists of players based in the Fijian national league, while a handful ply their trade in New Zealand.
