Mainland Break (USA) makes their Australian debut, touring in support of their new album One Way Ticket to Midnight and a fresh companion single. For fans of all things jangly and Flying-Nun-esque.

Sun-drenched indie rock at its finest.” – Beat Magazine

“...brilliant, feisty, and ultra-ambitious…” – The JW Vibe

“One Way Ticket To Midnight delivers infectious pop-rock melodies and captivating songwriting.” – Happy Mag

Mainland Break presents One Way Ticket to Midnight: a jangling indie rock record that's brimming with the propulsive energy of The Feelies and packed with chiming guitars that are evocative of R.E.M.

One Way Ticket to Midnight takes the listener through a lonely, reflective night that recalls distant friendships, lost love, and missed opportunity. It begins at sundown, with the golden nostalgia of "Calling After” and builds to the revelry of "One Way Ticket to Midnight” – set at the height of the night. The album works towards sunrise, but never realizes the dawn, and leaves the listener alone and grasping at fading memories.

The album touts production by Mark Anderson (Sylvan Esso), mixing by Joey Oaxaca (White Reaper, twen, Mamalarky), and mastering by Dave Cooley (DIIV, M83, The Linda Lindas).

Joining Mainland will be local VHS enthusiasts Civic Video, vintage car enjoyers Camino Gold, and road structure raconteurs The Causeway.
