Renowned lover of parties and dogs, Lyall Moloney, has dropped the first single from his forthcoming sophomore release, and it comes with the multi-instrumentalist's classic dubbed-out touch.
The new track, "If You Don't Love Me" gives an insight into L M 's distinctive high vocals for the first time, and might just be his catchiest work yet. The disko hop maestro is hitting the road this April to give you a fresh taste of his impressive live show, stopping at the biggest venues he's headlined to date. He's bringing some special guests and a backing band in the form of Melbourne gangstas Neon Queen.
This is the first new music we've seen from the one-man band since his debut album 'Only Lonely' was released, which featured ample Australian talents including Dizza Frost and Freddy Crabs of Sticky Fingers, as well as Polographia and Phillabusta. Expect another talent filled lineup of features for his second full length release.
Lyall is fresh off the Shake'N'Bake tour with fellow Sureshaker label mates Boo Seeka and Bootleg Rascal, where he captivated audiences and killed dance floors from Milton to Margaret River.
Phoebe Robertson of Beat Magazine had this to say of Lyall's opening set at the sold out Corner Hotel show in Melbourne: "with nothing more than two microphones, an electric guitar and a loop pedal, the interstate talent created a sound that far exceeded any expectations".
On top of that nation-wide tour, L M has been hitting the summer festivals hard, making appearances at the Festival of King Island, The Hills Are Alive!, Originals Music Fest and Big Pineapple.
The new single pushes Lyall's unique sound further than ever before, and seeing it live will certainly be something to look out for. Don't miss this opportunity to catch Australia's most unique party starter in action, he never fails to impress.
