Event Details

Letters to Lions and Zefereli are teaming up for a co-headline tour to promote their new releases of 2017, hitting the road for a set of very special shows along Australia's East Coast. Make sure you put these dates in your diary to ensure you catch one of these shows this summer.

A true to life rock and roll band, the energy of friends crashing in vans, live shows full of piss and vinegar and sacrificing the body. Sprawling guitar melodies and aggressive, ambitious vocals, described as a concoction of swooning aggression and dance pop sensibility with comparisons to Kings of Leon, WU LYF, last Dinosaurs and Foals; the boys may just become your new favorite indie band

Letters to Lions is poised to be the indie band of 2018. They band has the truly remarkable ability of being able to write these huge, arena-ready rock songs that sound like if Matt Healy of The 1975 teamed up with Young The Giant to create the super-group the genre didn't know that it needed. Zefereli (aka Alistar Richardson) is a DIY kind of guy. as his former band The Cairos faded amongst bad vibes and fake smiles Alistar began Zefereli: a creative outlet to just do what he felt like when he felt like, not as a money maker, but as a cathartic ode to the self. "It was fun, it was real, it was easy and it made me realise why the hell I was doing music." Part of this renewal was the creative paring with fellow musician Clea. Alistar has recorded her more recent music and Clea performs and collaborates with Zefereli.

" I met Clea and lightning struck. I heard her lyrics and her voice and i saw her unburdened by expectation and expressing herself in such a unique way. I had just recently ended a long relationship but I soon fell in love with all aspects of her personality and we have been inseparable since. We go through all the highs and lows of living the musicians life but we really force eachother to be truly expressive. One of the benefits of being a DIY artist was the growing production skill set. Alistar has recently made his living recording artists out at his dads farm. Bands such as Nice Buiscit, Beneb and Voiid have recently made the treck and it has only reinforced the Zefereli vision.
