Event Details

Racing shifts from Eagle Farm to Doomben Racecourse for the second leg of the 2024 The Star Stradbroke Season.

Top of the card is the $1.5 million Ladbrokes Doomben 10,000, one of Queensland's highest-rated races for elite sprinters and the first of the season's seven prestigious Group 1s.

The day also sees the running of the Group 2 Spirit of Boom Classic, the first leg of the season's triple crown for two-year-olds, and the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate, a key reference for the Ladbrokes Queensland Derby a fortnight later.

Feel Closer to the Action as you savour the fine food, wine, and entertainment packages available to be enjoyed in Doomben's grandstand terraces, suites, and marquees.

Please note as Brisbane Racing Club is a Licenced Venue you may be asked for ID when on course.

Acceptable Forms of ID include: Current Australian driver licence or learner permit, passport (from any country), adult proof of age card, a recognised proof of age card (eg. Keypass identity card) or foreign driver license. These can be hard copy ID or official digital ID. The ID must be current and have a photograph of the person and their date of birth. Expired IDs will not be accepted.

It is an offence for a minor to be on licensed premises in Queensland unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising the minor
