Hot off the heels of their debut EP, Canberra's HYG are bringing their brand of swirling, driving psych-rock to Wollongong with fellow Canberra psych-grunge heavyweights the New Party.

With both bands buzzing around Canberra over the last year with their frenetic live shows, HYG's mix of indie, psych and blues, as well as their rotating line-up, is fast-becoming a mainstay of the local scene, having opened for the likes of Hideous Sun Demon, The Ruminaters, Crocodylus, and Slow Turismo over the last 6 months.

The New Party are turning heads with their unique, heavy, twisted sound filled with off-kilter rhythms and distorted beats, and are ready to bring the party with them as they play interstate for the first time.
