8 Ball Entertainment & Chitty Bang Touring are proud to be presenting leading independent rapper Hopsin with his label mates from Funk Volume as they undertake the FV2012 tour on the Adelaide leg.

Hopsin toured Australia in late 2011 as a fledgling artist with a new album "RAW" and a dedicated fan base built from the ground up via social media connections and solid musical talent. In 2009 Hopsin released his debut album on Eazy-E's label Ruthless Records, "Gazing at the Moonlight" with stand out tracks like "Pans in the Kitchen". Hopsin and Ruthless never really connected, so he moved on, founded Funk Volume and independently flipped the script.

Since releasing his "RAW" album he has been busy touring and releasing solid hits with his "Ill Mind of Hopsin" series, teaser tracks from his upcoming Knock Madness album as well as guest features including Tech N9ne's track "Am I a Psycho" and the XXL Freshman of the Year Cypher. He was featured on the cover of XXL Magazine as one of the Freshmen of the Year for 2012.

Hopsin's "Ill Mind of Hopsin 4" has received over 17 Million Youtube views in just over a year which has almost been surpassed by "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5" which has clocked over 16 Million views in two months! It was one of few videos to clock 2 million views in 24 hours, debuting at number 17 on
Billboard.com's Social 50 chart.

Hip Hop aficionados at Hip Hop blog The Smoking Section write "Hopsin is his own double-edged sword. From a technical standpoint, this LA MC's talent rivals any promising up & comer being hyped right now".

Hopsin has even managed to make a few enemies along the way by dissing artists like The Game, Lil'Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Tyler the Creator and a slew of other Hip Poppers. But don't think dissing and bullshit are Hopsin's only forte. The social commentary on today's youth espoused in "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5" shows he has a conscience and a way of narrating the plight of a generation of brainwashed kids.

Funk Volume is an independent power house in the Hip Hop industry and their artist roster is evident of their dedication to the art. FV represent some of the independent rap world's key holders in Dizzy Wright, SwizZz, Jarren Benton and DJ Hoppa.

Dizzy Wright has won BET's "Wild Out Wednesdays" as well as Sheikh Music's "Rip The Mic" where Funk Volume was impressed with his smooth style and ability to rock the crowd. As Dizzy D Flashy he racked up some impressive mixtapes and Youtube views before becoming Dizzy Wright and really having an impact. Often compared to Whiz Khalifa, Dizzy proves he is more than capable of putting out inspiring music as well as some more "herbal" sounds.

Jarren Benton is the Skitzo of the group. He is the latest signee and the wild card in the deck. Jarren Benton has been rapping his arse off for over a decade (starting at age 10) but a lot of people had not wised up to him until his signing to Funk Volume. With hilarious punch lines and often deranged
verses Jarren's mixtapes such as "Huffing Glue With Hasselhoff" and "Freebasing With Kevin Bacon" are must haves for any Hip Hop heads collection. Jarren has recently collaborated with Rittz and Jon Connor on his "Billion Bucks" song, and the video for the same is a riotous parody of the "money and b@#ches" rap so prevalent in today's Hip Hop world.

Currently touring 42 dates around the USA followed by a European leg, the Funk Volume FV2012 Tour is huge! Australia gets to be a part of it late November with shows in the Gold Coast, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. Tickets are expected to sell out at the major shows so get online
