Hackagong is a weekend for people to play and create with technology. Anybody is welcome - from technology and field experts, to garage tinkerers, to total technology novices.

People can collaborate in teams or work individually to make anything they like, from websites, apps, hardware, artworks, games, music or anything they can think of. The aim is to experiment with technology, share knowledge, showcase skills and meet other makers.

This year, Hackagong will feature experts in emerging technology such as Biotechnology and AR/VR to demonstrate the technology and guide makers through their experimenting, as well as people from the local creative community to help develop ideas and connect with others.

Hackagong takes place across University of Wollongong's Innovation Campus. Food for the weekend is provided, along with various giveaways, prizes and opportunity for makers to show off what they have made.
