GUTTERMOUTH
FAREWELL TOUR
Join Guttermouth for all the chaos in their Farewell Tour, August 2013.
While it's sad to see an end of an era, the band is excited about taking a Wicked Camper around Australia and saying a final goodbye in the best way they know how - a show often labeled as the best live punk band you can still see today.
Always one to put his money where his mouth is, Adkins has been rebelling against "society standards" since the inception of the band. Not without ramifications though; Adkins was arrested in '95 at Punk Show, Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavilion, for assault with a deadly weapon (using the microphone to incite the crowd into near riot). He was banned from Canada for a period of years after a public indecency incident and in 2004 Adkins was banned on the Vans Warped Tour as he single handily provoked the entire tour to turn against him.
Although the bands behavior has been questionable, they have returned to our shores for decades. Playing major festivals including Livid Festival, Warped tour and supporting Reel Big Fish the band plays with gusto and energy that brings down the house every time.
This August will be the first Australian Winter for the band and their only chance to see the slopes in Jindabyne, Falls Creek and Mt Hotham. Also returning to the popular surfing towns Guttermouth have grown to know and love including Gold Coast, Newcastle, and Toukley - pushing the envelope and playing towns other international bands seem to neglect.
