Duke of George presents

Georgie Aué presents A Norah Jones Tribute

Jazz vocalist, pianist and songwriter, Georgie Aué, presents a tribute to one of the leading artists of today - Norah Jones.

Charming audiences with a soulful, evocative and bluesy performance, A Norah Jones Tribute is a celebration of the artistry of Norah Jones who has cemented her place as a songwriter of the highest calibre in blues, jazz and country genres.

Georgie debuted ‘A Norah Jones Tribute’ at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2010 to sell-out crowds. Since then she has performed it regularly to sold-out audiences in Melbourne and Perth. In 2020 the show returned to the Adelaide Fringe 2020 resulting in outstanding reviews and enraptured audiences.

Hear Georgie Aué and her band perform her famous songs like 'Don't Know Why' and 'Come Away With Me', that catapulted to the top of the charts back in the mid-2000s, and also be treated to some of Norah’s more recent work.

Featuring:
Georgie Aué - vocals/piano
Jeremy Thomson - guitar
Zac Grafton - double bass
Alex Reid - drums

"Elegant costuming and a beautiful setting wowed the audience, but it was the sterling performance of Georgie Aue which made the night so unforgettable. The band played with ease and you can’t help but admire Georgie Aue’s beautiful voice, complemented by her skills as a pianist." - 5 stars, What's On In Adelaide

"Georgie is able to capture the essence of these songs and has made them both a tribute and a demonstration of her own talent. An elegant, mellow, soulful night of fine songs and excellent musicianship." - 4 stars, The Clothesline
