 The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that Frozen Zoo at Taronga has been cancelled.

Statement from Taronga Zoo:

It is with a heavy heart that following the latest health orders mandated by NSW Health, Taronga Zoo Sydney is required to temporarily close, effective from 4pm on Saturday 26 June 2021 until 11.59pm on Friday 9 July 2021. 

This closure includes Taronga Zoo Sydney, Taronga’s pop-up ice rink Frozen Zoo, all overnight accommodation including the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga and Roar and Snore, all Zoo programs and the Taronga Function Centre. 

While the Zoo will be closed to the public, Taronga’s essential staff will continue to ensure the welfare and safety of the animals in our care remains at the highest possible standard, whilst non-essential staff will work remotely, ensuring our commitments to conservation and education continue at this challenging time. 

We continue to be in regular contact with NSW Health regarding the situation and will provide more information on the closure in due course. 

Take care of yourself and each other and thank you for your ongoing support of Taronga during this unprecedented time. 

Due to the number of cancellations, our refund process is taking slightly longer than usual. You don’t need to do anything; your ticket(s) will be automatically refunded back to your credit card/PayPal account and we’ll let you know when this has been done. It can take up to 3-5 business days for the funds to return to your account. If your card details have changed, please wait for Moshtix to contact you directly regarding this. 

If you're unable to see the refund in your account after 5 business days, please contact your financial institution before contacting Moshtix.  

Alternatively, if you purchased tickets from an outlet you will need to go back to the point of purchase. 

Please understand that given the extraordinary circumstances, our Fan Support teams are incredibly busy at the moment, so we encourage you not to contact us. Instead, you can find lots of information and answers to your questions in our information portal at tixsupport.moshtix.com.au.

Pop-up ice rink!

Frozen Zoo will run from Saturday 26 June to Sunday 11 July, 2021.

Set against the backdrop of Taronga’s iconic heritage gates, Frozen Zoo is a great addition to any Zoo visit. Kicking off Saturday 26 June and running for the duration of the winter school holidays, this all-ages event is perfect for the entire family!

Plus, you'll be able to skate until late with the ice rink open until 8pm every night!
