Frank's Fish Tank
Frank plucks the clawhammer banjo and sings with a voice from another time. Half 70s half classical renaissance, angelically she belts out classic old time and original folk songs about real stuff i.e. dead trees, wide river banks, black coffee and run down weatherboard houses.
She is accompanied by her sister Rachel Hocking (Racoo) on Fiddle, with whom she grew up singing and playing on the kitchen table in their Albany home.
Alongside is Jason Snook (Galloping Foxleys, Justin Walshe) who adds sweet intermingling bluegrass and blues style mandolin melodies to the fish tank equation.
