Floodlights make raw, honest, catchy rock music that melds ‘80s alternative rock with ‘90s New Zealand jangle-pop. Their live performance is intimate at times, intertwined with large powerful outbursts. 

In 2019 their sold out self-released debut 10” vinyl EP ‘Backyard’, containing the single ‘Nullarbor’, gained them an abundance of attention globally. With a reissue of the EP from Spunk Records and release of their debut LP ‘From a View’ the band gained more attention featured everywhere from KEXP (Seattle) to Rouge Trade Transmissions(UK).

While amidst a pandemic Floodlights teamed up with Tiny Town Records to release a two song 7” featuring 'Overflowing Cup' which further showcased the dynamic range of genres and moods.
