Since the release of 'Kill The Moon', Feelds has carved an evocative path towards his debut album, using vivid imagery & clever storytelling to bring each piece of music to life. 'Cut Your Teeth' was conceived after Feelds (James Seymour) stumbled across a photo album put together from when his parents met and went on 'Karate Camp' in the 80s. The incredibly captured imagery & themes sparked an eagerness for Feelds to share and elaborate upon this story through songwriting. The album's journey explores life learning & interaction as a human, how we respond and react to things around us, and essentially how all of our own experiences inevitably shape who we are. It was written, recorded & mixed in Feelds’ humble Melbourne studio with the help from bandmates Katie Wighton (backing vocals) & Jarred Young (drums), amongst other local musicians & songwriters. The album launch on Thursday 14 November is the final piece in the story, and will be celebrated at The Gasometer w/ Obscura Hail + Taylah Carroll.
