Damon Mudge – Maybe Single Launch
Naarm-based piano rocker Damon Mudge launches his brand-new single Maybe with a full band and very special guests Grevillea Hedge and Fintan Alexander Oag.
For the first time, Mudge brings his music to life on stage with drums, guitars, keyboards — and a real upright piano — delivering the raw, driving energy that underpins his distinctive sound.
About Maybe
Maybe is a reflection on Australia’s housing crisis and the generational struggle of being trapped in an endless rental cycle — where security is fleeting, rights are limited, and constant upheaval has become the norm. Drawing on 70s piano-driven rock with a psychedelic edge, the track is both a social commentary and a cathartic release.
The Lineup
Damon Mudge
Blending nostalgic melodies with a grounded rhythmic backbone, Mudge channels influences from Elton John to The White Stripes, carving out a unique and modern Australian piano-rock identity. His music captures the tension between escape and presence — dreamy, reflective, and unafraid to hit hard.
Grevillea Hedge
Grevillea Hedge are an alternative rock band based in Naarm/Melbourne. They take their influence from a broad range of music beginning from the 60s/70s, 90s grunge, and right up to the experimental possibilities of present day rock. Fluctuating between slow ballads and upbeat indie rock, Grevillea Hedge presents a unique sound bound to open your imagination.
Emerging composer and pianist Fintan Alexander Oag takes cues from Ludovico Einaudi and Yann Tiersen, creating immersive walls of sound that surround and transport listeners. Expect atmospheric, piano-led soundscapes that stir the imagination.
