SISTREN, the highly anticipated playwright debut of Sydney's beloved it-girl, iolanthe, has proven itself to be more than 'just a show'. It is a blazing love letter to sisterhood, one that delicately holds its audience's joy, liberation and complexity. Featuring real-life besties Iolanthe and Janet, a party-girl duo, the infectious energy of the show is set to be continued in its afterparty at The Abercrombie Upstairs. SISTREN is no usual show, and as such, its closing night will look like no usual theatre foyer soiree; but rather, the girls are set to hit the streets - with all besties invited (duhhh!) - pole performances, lip syncs and high BPM beats from the baddies that dominate Sydney's social scene. Specifically dedicated to bla(c)k girls and trans girls, the SISTREN afterparty will be theeee party this winter. If you're fab, you'll be there!!!
