CELL BLOCK 69 return against all odds for a rare appearance in sweet Canberry.

In the year two thousand and 1980 seventeen, CELL BLOCK 69 were certainly no strangers to being totally awesome to the maxx.

After reforming and playing just three sold out annual "Final Shows Ever " it became evident that the only thing now worth pursuing was the smell of sweet success one might smell when resting upon laurels in a place like one's castle in the isles of generic Europe.

If you're in the embarassing situation of not knowing who CELL BLOCK 69 are, let's enlighten you. It's been a rocky ride. They claim to have 80's hit after hit stolen from them by artists like Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Devo and many others. Fans will no doubt remember the widely publicised media battle with Prince after they claim he stole their song, 'My Name Is Prince'.

Then of course RoKK SiXXXxxXXX's horrible spate of accidents requiring replacement of at least five limbs. Not to mention the recent moment when Corey Spelling fell prey to the fumes of his own hairspray addiction, yet again - this time awakening from unconsciousness to begin a weird cult actually believing in music that apparently existed from so called 'other decades'. Thanks to great friends at the Betty Ford Clinic, Spelling is back and ready to Rock. This time sporting hairspray with a new fragrence, scented with home grown laurels, picked and aged carefully.
