BUSBY MAROU are as unassuming as they are mischievous.

In the couple of years since the release of their debut self-titled album, Tom Busby and Jeremy Marou have traveled the far four corners of the globe making friends.

The most important of these friends are their band of guns including DJ (drums & percussion), Enzo (bass) and Vaughan Jones (keys). These guys, along with Tom's cheeky onstage presence and Jeremy's freakish instrumental ability has cemented their reputation as one of the most loved live bands to come out of Australia in recent times.

Their off stage reputation isn't far behind the one they have achieved onstage. These antics have certainly informed the songs for album #2 and the lyrics read like an adventure of irreverence that is sure to make you smile.

The boys have recently returned from Nashville where they recorded their second album with Brad Jones (Justin Townes Earle/Josh Rouse/Missy Higgins).

BUSBY MAROU are incredibly proud of the new album and can't wait to share it with you on their National album tour in October and November. They are bringing their mates HARRY HOOKEY and NAT DUNN to round out one of the most complete and diverse live bills going around this year.

Their debut album is just shy of gold and was nominated for APRA, Deadly, NIMA and Queensland Music awards. It also saw them touring with artists as diverse as Birds Of Tokyo and Dolly Parton and all things between as well as playing at SXSW, Canadian Music Week, Bluesfest and Woodford to name a few.

Their first single "Biding My Time" took out the APRA for Best Blues & Roots song and came in at #81 on the 2012 Triple J Hottest 100. They also recorded the Cyndi Lauper classic "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" for Like A Version that ended up coming in at the #2 most voted Like A Version for that year.

BUSBY MAROU are poised for an incredible 2013 and beyond and hope you join them for the ride.
