AN AUDIENCE WITH COLIN LILLIE
FRIDAY AUGUST 24TH
EPILOGUE - ALICE SPRINGS

Colin Lillie is one of a kind - this you discover within moments of hearing the "Gypsy Scotsman" and proud adopted Northern Territory local share his song. Beyond that, what's truly special about Lillie is his passion for life and music. What remains true is that every time Colin Lillie picks up a guitar and sings something special happens - the passion shines through, and the music becomes real. This spirit and unbridled fearlessness is what has drawn The Harbour Agency into signing him to their booking roster.

After battling with drugs and alcohol before picking up a guitar, Colin has gone from strength to strength. Winning NT song of the year (Blues & Roots), recording a critically acclaimed debut album Glass Homes and signing a management deal with Footstomp Music & Kadence Group, Colin has delivered his music onto a national stage.

His stardom shot to new heights this year when he won his place on Boy George's team on The Voice Australia. Winning over TV audiences for his stirring rendition of Cat Steven's Father & Son, Colin was seen as one of the most credible contestants on the show by fans and judges alike. Although he was knocked out before the finals, Colin's infectious personality and passion for performing earned him a new scope of loyal fans nationwide alongside a number of those in Australia's music industry.

Now to round out his rocksteady musical foundations, The Harbour Agency have just announced their signing of Colin Lillie! The Harbour Agency was established in late 1978 to meet the market needs for a professional music booking agency. Representing world-class established, mid-level and developing talent it has become Australia's largest booking agency.

In 2015, Graham Ashton from Footstomp Music was lucky enough to be invited to Alice Springs to sample the local talent and offer a mentorship to one artist. Despite being less developed musically than the rest of the field, Colin stood out as a true artist of heart with a story to tell.

Colin and Footsotmp have worked together in a project management capacity ever since which included connecting Colin with Mark Meyers (The Middle East) who produced his debut album. This album went on to win multiple awards and was lauded with sensational critical acclaim.

Colin has since linked with producer Jamie Trevaskis (Robert Forster/The Gin Club) and is heading over East to start pre-production for album number two. Colin is also working closely with Jamie on a signature guitar sound that will help define Colin's solo performances.
