Alex Acuna may be one of the most successful Latin drummers to come out of South America. Equally at home on drum set, hand drums and hand percussion, Alex is known for his unique blend of authentic Latin feel, Afro-Cuban rhythm and contemporary drum set groove.

Alex has played with Weather Report, U2, Carlos Santana. Paul McCartney, Chick Corea, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley and countless others.

He has also worked as an educator at University of California, Berklee College of Music and Musicians Institute.
