Saturday 31st December | 8:30pm - 3:00am | The Tivoli

In so-called Australia, your high school Formal is treated as a rite of passage to celebrate the end of schooling and a night that you’ll never forget. But for a lot of queers, this milestone can be a source of stress, not celebration - as we had to navigate hormones & hetero-normative bullshit - all while still trying to figure out our gender and sexuality.

That’s why to celebrate the end of 2022, we’re not just giving you a chance to re-do your Formal, we are creating a better Formal: more queer, more  fun, and more fabulous - and while the theme for NYE is ‘Formal’, the dress code and festivities are going to be LOOSE. This is a night where you can dress however you want, bring whoever (and as many people) as you want, and be your authentic queer self.

🎵 NOTES FOR THE EVENING 🎵
