An FBi benefit starring international talent from around the globe and featuring performances from: Wildbirds & Peacedrums (Sweden) + Sonny & The Sunsets - acoustic mode (USA) + Tiny Ruins (NZ)

Proving themselves to be a radio station of international repute, Sydney's FBi has been able to marshall a collection of some of the world's finest up and coming musical talent for a one-off benefit show.
 
Taking place on Tuesday March 8 at the Church on Chalmers, the show will include performances from:

Wildbirds & Peacedrums (Sweden)

Swedish couple Mariam Wallentin and her husband Andreas Weliin are Wildbirds & Peacedrums. Together the pair draw upon the tenets of the blues, jazz, folk and soul music traditions to create powerfully raw and innovative pop music, crafted from experimental percussion, strings, and Mariams evocative vocals. UK newspaper The Guardian described a recent performance as fantastic, giving the duo a five star review, while The Fly has described the duos live show as a truly reverential experience.

Sonny & The Sunsets - acoustic mode (USA)
Sonny & The Sunsets' brand of vintage-styled west coast pop tells sordid tales of distant travels, heavenly visions and otherworldly despair; their newest LP Tomorrow Is Alright radiates with a classic yet indefinable sound birthed from the sand, surf and twilight campfires of Ocean Beach, California.

Tiny Ruins (NZ)
Tiny Ruins is New Zealands Hollie Fullbrook, a young musician whose intense & beautiful acoustic songs are recorded with a rare simplicity and sparseness. Soon to release her debut solo album on the Spunk label, Hollie has recently charmed Australian audiences while opening for The Middle East & Beach House at a sell out show in Mullumbimby. Her single 'Priest With Balloons' features on the current Spunk summer sampler.
