Trent Slingshot & Vic Edirisinghe present Atlanta, GA rapper and Brick Squad member WAKA FLOCKA FLAME who is set to ignite Australian audiences for the very first time, touring the country on the back of his new album 'Flockavelli II'.

Raised between Queens, New York and Atlanta, Georgia, Waka Flocka Flame (Juaquin Malphurs) never wanted to be a rapper. Whilst growing up with aspirations for a career in Basketball, his mother (Debra Antney) was managing a fast-rising Gucci Mane. Following the death of his brother and watching Gucci turn into a Southern sensation, he began messing with music as a means to release - citing 2pac, Eazy-E and Lil Jon as primary influences. The result was his 2008 mixtape 'Salute Me or Shoot Me, Vol. 1' which featured the instant hit "O Lets Do It'. The debut was so huge it earned him a spot on Gucci's 1017 Brick Squad Clique, with OJ Da Juiceman, Frenchie and Woo Da Kid (it was Gucci himself who told him to add Flocka Flame to his name).

Waka gained a national presence - described as being as intense as lyrically reckless with some (including Method Man) critiquing his rambunctious Southern style. Proving his detractors wrong, Flocka's debut album 'Flockavelli' entered the charts at No. 6, hitting fans with tracks like 'Justin' At Em' and 'No Hands' - though it was the Lex Luger produced lead single 'Hard in Da Paint' that elevated his status from Southern star to International phenomenon.

In 2011 Flocka released a host of mixtapes including 'Salute Me or Shoot Me 3' and his

highly anticipated Gucci Mane collaborative album Ferrari Boyz, famed for its relentless title track. Shortly after, he released 'Round of Applause' the first single from his second album 'Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family', featuring Drake and produced by Lex Luger. The album, which featured guest spots and verses from Trey Songz, Tyga, Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj, Ludacris and more debuted at No. 10 with positive reviews across the board.

Waka Flocka Flame is the next level of ferocity in the growing Southern Rap phenomenon. From his unforgiving Krunk style to his unbounded stage presence, it is his reputation, as a performer and party-starter that has seen him become one of the worlds most controversial and renowned superstars of the last 5 years. Spin Magazine called him 'More an agitator than a rapper' and nowhere is this more true than the hands-down party of a Waka Flocka live show.

As the most anticipated rap tour of the year, you would be a fool to miss this.
