The Songwriters' Club present a very special evening.

Jeff Lang has earned worldwide acclaim as a dynamic songwriter and a startlingly unique live performer. An extraordinarily individual musician, what enhances his unique nature is his steadfast adherence to a prolific and diverse musical palette and output. A songwriter, a collaborator, a guitar virtuoso and a stunning lyricist, Jeff Lang crafts songs as novellas - rich with depth and vision, yet with an open breathe for individual interpretation.

Over a 40 year career Stephen Cummings has made successful forays into many musical genres. After topping the charts with 70s band Ther Sports, Stephen embarked on a solo career and has now released twenty albums, consisting fifteen studio albums, two 'best of' compilations, a live disc, an album of acoustic re-workings of his songs and a rarities collection. His fourth album, A New Kind of Blue, won an ARIA award for "best adult contemporary album" (1996's "Escapist" was also nominated in the same category) and his eighth album, Falling Swinger, was included in Australian Rolling Stone's list of "100 essential Australian albums".

Joining these two masters on the night will be Danny Ross - a newcomer to the Melbourne scene but an amazing songwriter, a virtuoso guitarist and a mesmerising singer. A talent not out of place on this amazing bill.
