Good Charlotte are ready to take the east coast this November for The JD Set, armed with their twist on a Weezer classic and some classics of their own!

Mr. Jack has never been one to rest on his laurels, and its for that very reason were backing up his recent 161st birthday bashes featuring Art vs Science and friends with the another epic round of The JD Set! Jack Daniels are thrilled to be welcoming American pop-punksters Good Charlotte to the team as they headline our next set of shows in November.

Good Charlotte are undoubtedly one of the most successful and popular bands of this decade, sitting atop the throne of the pop-punk world having sold over 10 million albums globally and having forever engrained themselves in pop culture with their countless party anthems such as the aptly named The Anthem, Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous and from their fifth and latest album Cardiology the chart topping singles Like Its Her Birthday, Sex On The Radio and Last Night. The latter being praised by Billboard for mixing "Rolling Stones guitar hooks with a slamming four-to-the-floor beat..."

However, as has become tradition for The JD Set, we're adding a twist, with Benji, Joel, Billy, Paul and Dean set to bring to life a classic album by a band that has influenced their own music. Getting the treatment this time around is the debut album from one of the most popular bands of the nineties, Weezer. The album referred to as The Blue Album was released in 1994 and spawned the mainstream hits Undone The Sweater Song and Buddy Holly, and has since sold over 3 million copies worldwide while often being touted as one of the most important albums of that pivotal era in music. Rolling Stone magazine listed The Blue Album at #297 in its 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

With stats like that it will be interesting to see how the Madden twins Joel and Benji, and the rest of the Good Charlotte boys, go about recreating The Blue Album and making it their own, but one things for sure these guys know how to party so its destined to be one hell of an evening! Especially because, with their own repertoire featuring so many anthems, it would be criminal to have Good Charlotte come to our shores and not bust out a few of their own beats, so you can also expect to hear some of their biggest hits at the gigs alongside their Weezer reinterpretations. Some suitably Rockin support talent is also to be added to the bill, with full details soon to be announced.
