A huge change is coming to Queensland this long weekend.

DFB presents their first ever ISLAND PARTY

SOUTH STRADBROKE ISLAND, GOLD COAST

You meet your friends at Marina Mirage nice and early with huge smiles and anticipation for what you're about to experience, a feeling of unknowing.

The boats begin to board for the 45 min trip out to South Stradbroke Island where you'll hear some of Queensland's best support DJs warming things up for you, drinks are flowing and the scenery outside of the boat is breathtaking.

The boat pulls up the Island and you're greeted by the bass lines of house music to set the mood coming from each stage with the noticeable addition of the first ever massive beach stage set up right on the sand fenced in from the water.

It's time to take a walk and check out the multiple stages providing everything from EDM to House to Techno and anything in between. Rest assured that wherever you decide to stop and dance, you'll be hearing some of the best music in the country brought to you by the DFB All Stars.

The highlight of this event will be the huge main stage structure on the sand featuring LED Screens with live visuals, a massive lighting rig with moving heads, lasers, haze, strobes, blinders and more. And not to mention the huge speaker stacks on either side of the stage that will deliver the days soundtrack to your ears.

As the Winter sun sets over the water prepare to be wowed by the lighting display that we have put together for you all. All through the day the LED Screen and LED DJ Booth will be pumping with live visuals but its when day turns to night that you'll experience everything we have promised to you all with the strobes, lasers and more lighting up the sky.

We'll dance, we'll smile, we'll make new friends and reunite with the old, we'll drink and we'll have the best day of our lives until the event closes out, the boats take us back to the mainland and every single person wonders what they just experienced.
